WHAT HAPPENED NEXT IN INDIA EDUCATION MALPRACTICE

THE EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES IN INDIA

After the setbacks from the last examination malpractices that brought Indian educational system into the limelight of shame, more than 8oo students have been expelled, I happened to know a relative of one of the students who gave me the privilege of meeting the ex student of this undisclosed school in Bihar and asked him how easy it was to cheat during the examination..

Then he narrated his ordeals to me:
He said before such a thing could take place in such a beyond alarming rate as that, it must be within the agreement of the school's principal. He added that they all contributed money to pay the school principal which he would in be turn shared among some of the important subjects invigilators, in return for safe passage to use whatever books they can in the hall. These methods had been going on for years but it was the so called greediness by one of the school officials that led to the debacle of the whole shows. Why is that? I asked him He told me that in his own school, their school principal had given them go ahead to copy from their textbooks during the examination. But before that he gave them some formal guidelines on how to behave whenever the school external invigilators are there, "he told us that, once we were caught or suspected, the first thing to do is to quickly get rid of the implications by chew and swallow the piece of papers in order to erase and clear out any evidence or presumed allegations of cheating. But on that day, luck ran out of him as he was caught cheating on the day of biology subjects.

Actually what happened was that, while writing, the external supervisor suspected that he was not concentrating on his work and asked him to stand up, so some of his friends sitting beside whispered to  him to quickly chew and swallowed  the paper as others had done, but he couldn't, even the school principal standing beside the main door made different signals to him that he should chew and swallow the piece of paper, again,  he couldn't do it,but rather stood there and was shaking and crying.

I asked him why was he crying, if he was afraid of being caught? he answered, "NO",though he was afraid but he was more confused as he doesn't know where and how to start chewing the book , because in his hand, it was not a mere piece of paper but he was caught with a 450 pages of whole NEW SCHOOL CURRICULUM BIOLOGY TEXTBOOK...No wonder!!! So I started laughing in fact I almost called him a fool.
