A MAN AND HIS WIFE SOLD THEIR SON FOR MONEY

The situation in this world has led to different mishaps; a lot of unbelievable stories are heard of every time in the news. I think the source would be poverty, No I am sorry to say…wickedness, greediness, selfishness the rich is getting richer while the poor are getting poorer, in this world of globalization age, the rich economy drags the poor ones along…

 And this is where my story begins…Why would a man sell his only son for money?

 As it was gathered that a movie actor in one of the developing countries and his wife were arrested for selling their two-year-old son, to a woman.

Ironically, it was his pregnant girlfriend that alerted the police when she suspected that her lover was planning to abandon her.

As the story goes, the actor impregnated his girlfriend more than two years ago and disappeared. He returned sometime in the late of last year and apologized to her with a promise to marry her. The poor girl accepted him back and after sometime she got pregnant again without marriage.

However, when his resources dwindled, he requested from her to relocate with him to another state as soon as they were able to raise some money.

Then he later convinced her to use their son as collateral to collect a loan of about $2,500 that will be paid back in three months’ time. Unknown to the woman, that this was a trick to lure her into an agreement of supporting him to take the boy out from the house easily.

With the money they got after selling their son, as earlier agreed upon, the couple relocated to another state and they rented an apartment. Two weeks later, the man came with an excuse that there was a pro­ject he was called upon to execute in another state as well. Then he left his lover with little or no money with the promise to return in the next two days. Days dragged into weeks and weeks into months with no signs of him and beside she was left without money or food, but at the was able to survive at the mercy of their neighbors who gave her money for feeding.

After so many months of expectations and frustrations, especially when her lover had told her that their son, might not return again. Then it occurred to her that she had been fooled like a walking dead Zombies. So she couldn’t keep the silence any longer and she confided the matter with the police.

This is just an advise to all girls out there and every parent.....KNOW YOUR CHILD!

A MAN HAS AN ARROW LOGGED IN HIS EYE SOCKET

A man has an arrow lodged in his eye socket after a tribal fight in the suburbs of Papua New Guinea's capital this week.

PNG police said 12 people were injured by arrows during a clash between rival ethnic groups from Chimbu and Goroka, who have migrated from the country's Highlands to Port Moresby.

"One of these victims has an arrow tip still in his eye [and is] awaiting emergency operation at the moment," Superintendent Silas Wayagure, head of operations with National Capital District police, told the ABC.

"It was a long distance shot but somehow it got him in the eye and went through."

Police said the fight started on Monday when Chimbu youths assaulted a man from Goroka at Six Mile market.

Around dawn the next morning, a group of ethnic Goroka residents armed themselves with bows and arrows and attacked the Chimbu people.

The clash occurred about a kilometre from the capital's international airport.

Eight people were treated for arrow injuries at Port Moresby's General Hospital and discharged but two remain in hospital, including the Chimbu man impaled with the arrow.

"When they remove it, whether he will survive or not is something I can not say... they are saying he is a 50-50 [chance of surviving]," Superintendent Wayagure said.

Senior police tried to calm the "warring parties" but the situation remained tense.

The Chimbu clan are not cooperating with police and are believed to be planning a payback killing if their clansman does not survive the operation to remove the arrow.
